The focus of Leaf Mining is to provide you with some of the best equipment possible for you to maximize your gold recovery under changing or variable conditions which is exactly what you will run into out in our streams and rivers across our great continent.

How will I do that? Using high grade materials that are above what is considered the “industry normal”.  When you order a stake you wanted to be thick and juicy, when you order a Leaf Mining sluice box the aluminum or stainless steel will be a little thicker than what you typically find from most suppliers. The amount of extra weight is negligible [maybe a couple ounces] but if you slip and drop your sluice or pile stuff on it unintentionally odds are it will be undamaged [maybe a little dent depending on how hard it was hit]. The thickened tinfoil sluice boxes from some of what is considered to be my competition look like they should but usually lack the strength and longevity of a commercial sluice.

DESIGN

This is something I’m obsessed with. Whether you choose a tapered sluice box or a straight walled more dedicated model, the gold you get at the end of the day makes all the difference to your financial health. It’s my job to match you with the right gear in order to quickly put you in this position. The gold shows on TV are a lot of fun to watch but they seem to like to make mistakes. I’ll go on record right now that if I could add on a fine gold recovery section to their sluices they would recover an additional 2 to 3 ounces per cleanup. The gold size that we see in their glass jars lacks any appreciable small gold flakes to particles.
A simple two-dimensional sluice box that fits flush with the outflow at the end of your sluice box is all you need. It’s with this knowledge and putting the final touches on a multistage sluice box. The only thing lacking is the ability to feed through large volumes of gold bearing materials, yards of gold bearing sands and gravels. It’s like “an apartment building for gold” because of its multilevel capture system.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT [R & D]

We are in a world with tons of change every day and sometimes change in technology is almost scary. However, my view on how to catch gold is dealing with simple flow dynamics. Most of the progressive refinements I place in advance sluice boxes are basically handling gold materials more efficiently. Speed and foolproof gold traps are at the core of the designs they offer you. I spend way too many hours playing in water with different sluice boxes to be healthy and I find a faster, better way to pull gold out of the flow. After I refine the successful method I can provide it to you.

The R&D will continue into the foreseeable future with future projects like a plug and play non-ferrous magnet you can install on your sluice box to my continuing work on the deep gold drill. There are positive changes coming to gold mining that mean you can get more gold with less effort.

I don’t of gold will be the money of the future but thousands of years of human existence as it’s always been valuable and sought after. When you have a quantity of gold set aside [flakes, nuggets or bars] you are holding something that will never rot, burn or fade away. Gold is forever - not diamonds and is almost indestructible. All gold is billions of years old, there is no such thing as freshly made gold. The amount of energy it takes to make our favorite yellow metal is astronomical. When we have gold in our hand we are holding something there that is valued and recognized by all people on our earth and my part in this is to help you find, mine and recover “your gold”.
